Reversal Bars Trading

Trading Setups

Reversal bars are chart patterns where price and time all come together at a major pivot, when we look to see if the prior trend will continue or change directions.  All reversal bars have two things in common: they close opposite to the way they opened and they close opposite to the direction of the prior price movement. We trade the reversal bars that are the highest high or lowest low of a trend or swing. Our trades occur only during times when there is high volume.

We have 4 high probability setups. 2 of the setups trade in the direction of the trend. These include the Continuation Bar Setup (CB) and the Thrust Bar Setup (TB).

All trends have pullbacks and trends do not last forever. In fact, markets can be choppy at times. We have 2 additional setups that fade the market. They are known as the Reversal Bar Setup (RB) and the Bollinger Reversal Setup (BR).

We use indicators to help us identify our setups and they are available for purchase. if you are interested, please click the Contact Us tab above and we will help you.

You can find explanations and examples for these setups in the drop down menu on the navigation bar or use the links below.
